Lost: Episode 7: The Life and Death of Jeremy Bentham

locke art

I’ll tell ya this poor bastard Locke can’t catch a break with his legs, between the fall from daddy’s window, all the way back to season one with the flying shrapnel while attempting to puncture the hatch, to the back and forth of you’re paralyzed, you’re not paralyzed, you’re paralyzed, ahhh actually you’re not, it’s just a slight bruise from the car that tried to back over you, to the fall down the Dharma well, complete with compound fracture. how does this guy keep getting up and why? We’ll get back to this.

Seafloor farming by aliens

farming by aliens

Alright Mister Google, I’m going to let you have this one, but we aren’t done yet. Just keep that in your head and have your fun.  And while your at it thanks for taking a serious scientific approach,  ”Some have speculated that these are the plow marks of seafloor farming by aliens.” What’s that all about?! Now I didn’t see this comment on any blog. I might’ve missed it but that sounds real funny:). Why is it being dismissed so quickly? Aren’t we here to investigate the unknown.

Ghostbusters 3

ghostbusters art

I don’t want to get too fired up about this leak so I’ll be leaving the proton pack in the closet. But the Ghostbusters 3 update came directly from Dan Aykroyd’s mouth. This is one of my all-time favorite comedies of the ’80s, which stars one of the best comedy casts since Stripes or The Blues Brothers.

The Shack by William P. Young

the shackI have to admit right up front, I would’ve never heard of this book if it wasn’t for my mother (and you thought she was only good for a hot meal. wrong!) and my interest in the afterlife. And now I know why, The Shack, is a self-published novel by author Paul Young, which hit the best-seller list, with 6 million copies printed since 2007. Don’t let that self-published scare you, it’s inspirational and reads like a fast paced thriller. What could be better?

The Shack is the fictional tale of a man named Mack who has to deal with a horrible family tragedy. Within a year Mack heads out to his mailbox to find an invitation from the one and only, yes you guessed it, the big man up stairs, God, to the shack where the tragedy occurred. But this is where it gets interesting, God isn’t exactly a man, or so it seems.

Lost: Episode 6: 316

lost 316

Alright here’s the thing, I LOVE Lost. But this is one of those episodes ( Episode 6: 316 ) that drives me absolutely bing bong! I refer to these episodes as “LOST an Hour of My Life” episodes. They typically drag and tease you with one little tid bit of information and before you know it the show is done. I literally watch the clock as the minutes tick by in anticipation of a reveal which never comes. I should know better by now. But what made this a really annoying episode was that it was a Jack episode. Now I can see why they actually considered killing him off in the first season.

Google Discovers Atlantis?

Atlantis

So what’s the deal? Is it Atlantis or is it some quirk of Google Maps imaging technology? Is it even paranormal? Well if anything it’s a mystery that people have been trying to solve for centuries. And it seems every few years there’s a new claim of the discovery of the ancient land of Atlantis. The latest occurred last week when Google Earth’s mapping of the ocean floor displayed a rectangle the size of a small state off the coast of Africa.

Mark of the Beast “666″

666 baby

Wow, what a shocking surprise! We just started posting consistently at the beginning of February, 2009, and were really only posting about once a month since November, 2008 (we need to make real moneys so we do have day jobs). So today we checked to see how our traffic was and surprise, surprise, we were up 666%.

Now we don’t know about you but this number has always given us a bit of a shudder. We know it’s satanic significance but we’ve always believed there’s a lot more to it than just evil. Is it a sign from some unknown source warning us to stop posting?

Lost: Episode 5: This Place is Death

run_art

Well Jin was right the elusive smoke monster is back and does it have a chip on it’s shoulder. Episode 5: This Place is Death has to be one of the best episodes I’ve seen in a long time.

It begins with Jin washing up back on the island only to be rescued by a young Danielle Rousseau in the year 1988. Before they even set 10 steps into the jungle a chase begins with the smoke monster slithering through the brush and kicking up trees.
