About
The current interest in all things Paranormal is, well, Beyond Normal. Gone are the days (or nights) when we had to hide our books about vampires, out-of-body experiences, or aliens. For good or bad paranormal has gone mainstream. TV series, major motion pictures, and evening news programs give us high doses of the mysterious and unexplained. Webcams, podcasts, digital photography easily uploaded to the Internet provide a steady stream of sights and sounds that experts and hobbyists deem worthy of sharing. We’re not experts, but like many of you, we have a lifelong obsession with esoteric wisdom, strange phenomana, altered states, folklore, hauntings, life beyond Earth, and life after death.
We’ve taken our collective insatiable appetite for mystery and combined it with our media, design and web expertise to build a community here at Paranormal Spy, a site that is easy-to-read and easy-to-navigate. It looks pretty sweet too.
We’re trolling the best sites, viewing and reviewing mainstream media, and sharing our findings with the universe of curious souls. Plus, we invite leading experts in the field along with writers, film makers and podcasters to post and educate us on projects.
We will soon be launching our own audio podcast program that will include interviews with the movers and shakers in the always fascinating realm of the beyond normal.

At a young age, Brody Maddox had a close family member reveal a chilling, yet exciting story that began it all. After that, it was a healthy dose of “In Search Of” and any paranormal book he could get his hands on. As he delved deeper his curiosity grew wider into other subjects such as the pyramids of Giza and lucid dreaming. But it wasn’t until an after-death communication with his deceased sibling that the paranormal became more than entertainment. He loves beef brisket on Portuguese rolls.
