So what’s the deal? Is it Atlantis or is it some quirk of Google Maps imaging technology? Is it even paranormal? Well if anything it’s a mystery that people have been trying to solve for centuries. Well Jin was right the elusive smoke monster is back and does it have a chip on it’s shoulder. Episode 5: This Place is Death has to be one of the best episodes I’ve seen in a long time.

It begins with Jin washing up back on the island only to be rescued by a young Danielle Rousseau in the year 1988. Before they even set 10 steps into the jungle a chase begins with the smoke monster slithering through the brush and kicking up trees.

I had totally forgotten about the new Haunting in Connecticut movie until I came across the latest poster. This movie is based on the true events of the Snedeker family who moved into an old funeral home in Southington, Connecticut. That alone should tell you where this is going, a not so cheery place.

It got so bad that The Warrens of the now infamous Amityville case were called in to investigate. John Zaffis, a nephew of the Warrens who was also part of the team witnessed an apparition appear with the noise of a thousand flapping wings and a stink so bad he could hardly breathe. This is definitely “soil your grunts” type of stuff.

Well Hollywood has done it again, they’ve taken something really good and made it really, really lame. They’ve decided to capitalize on the current paranormal explosion by creating what sounds like the latest reality tv bomb, Hot Girls in Scary Places. Can’t wait for Babes and Banshees!

So those UK UFOs are at it again. For the past couple of weeks the UK has been experiencing what seems like non-stop ufo activity. The latest sighting comes from a video that was shot last year above a seaside resort in Somerset, England. The two-minute clips shows a cylindrical object bouncing through clear skies. The object was reported to be seen by multiple witnesses.

Just a quick update on Lost, one of our favorite shows at Paranormal Spy,  actor Daniel Dae Kim, who plays Jin recently said in an interview that the secret of the Smoke Monster will be revealed soon. This is just one part of Lost that has been driving me batty since season one. Hopefully it’s worth the wait.

Maybe I watched the Exorcist too many times or maybe it was the heavy dose of Sunday school I received as a kid, heck it could’ve even been those flying monkeys from the Wizard of Oz, but part of me has always been a bit nervous delving too deeply into the paranormal realm, specifically investigations. I’ve listened to many paranormal radio shows over the years and found that quality tends to be lacking which sometimes makes listening pretty rough. But host, David Schrader and co-host Tim Dennis really have something special going. They’ve had a great mix of guests, including Lorraine Warren of Amityville fame, all the way over to ufologist Stanton Friedman.

A clip handed to The Sun shows the white dot hanging motionless in the air before a shot of white light emits from the orb, hitting the earth. Just a few seconds later a red beam comes firing from the object before the silent orb disappears. Zoe Salthouse, 20, captured this incredible footage a couple of weeks ago while sitting in a friend’s back garden. The student nurse from New Moston, Manchester, was sitting with friends in nearby Alcrington when she saw the light.
