MUFON alien abduction research committee launches Omega Three study
The Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) Abduction/Experience Research Committee is launching the first of four studies it will conduct over the next few years – Omega Three.
Participants in the study are being recruited through an advertisement in the MUFON Journal as well as through OPUS.
The Journal ad states that MUFON is looking for “abductees, contactees and control group participants.”

MUFON's (AERC Committee) is established through (OPUS) the 'Org. for Paranormal Understanding and Support.', headed by Mr. Lester Velez. The (AERC Committee) has not met with it's Board members in over a year! I know this because I'm closely aquainted with one.
(AERC) and the 'Omega Three' study is simply an attempt to publicize MUFON's name in relation to the alien abduction/experiencer phenomenon. Hundreds if not thousands of hours have already been spent researching this field. It seems at best redundant to create yet another study. And what will happen with all the data from this study,…which might take years!
This is pure MUFON "symbolism over substance".
