A US physicist who has been researching a microtubule theory of Life After Death for several decades is amazed that he has found a second voice in British binary mind theorist Anthony Peake.

Cape Cod resident George Hammond’s theory involves in his words, “a last minute relativistic time dilation which provides an Afterlife which actually occurs microseconds before death but because of the enormous time dilation appears to occur after death”.

Thinking he must be the only researcher to have stumbled upon this truth, Hammond has published the theory in 2nd rank academic journals and widely on Usenet without being able to get anyone’s attention.

The time-dilation solution to the age-old question of life after death seemed to Hammond to be something of a virtual miracle.

He was therefore duly astonished when he accidentally came across Anthony Peake’s “Cheating the Ferryman” theory , published in 2006, during a Google search of life after death. That Peake proposed the same exact time dilation solution to the problem stunned the physicist. Says Hammond in a post on the Anthony Peake Cheating the Ferryman international forum, ” I was flabbergasted! How could a non-physicist possibly arrive at such a profound physics theory!”.

I read about this a few months ago and some of it’s really compelling stuff, especially some of the experiences this kid would describe.

Is reincarnation possible?

One family in Louisiana believes it is. The Leiningers claim that their son, James, is a reincarnated WWII fighter pilot.

James is now 11, and his parents claim that he began experiencing the memories of James McCready Huston, a 21-year-old WWII fighter pilot, when he was 2 years old.

In case you’re not familiar with eschatology, reincarnation is the belief that when one dies, one’s physical body decomposes, but something of oneself is reborn in another physical body.

The Leiningers have written a book on James’ experiences, titled “Soul Survivor: The Reincarnation of a World War II Fighter Pilot.” The family was on “Good Morning, America” this morning to talk about their experiences.

So what if the screen you’re looking at right now, isn’t really physically there? As a matter of fact, what if that room you’re in, or that chair you’re sitting in, is really a hologram? The holographic universe is one of those mind-boggling theories that excites me on one hand but scares the crap out of me on the other. But now go a little deeper and imagine that your soul is holographic.

The Big Book of the Soul

Ian Punnet, host of Coast to Coast AM, got to dig into the holographic concept with the author of The Big Book of the Soul: Our Many Lives as Holographic Aspects of the Source, Ian Lawton. They touched on a whole slew of related subjects such as past lives, near-death and out-of-body experiences, interlife (the space in between life where we supposedly meet with spirit guides to prepare for our next life) regression and reincarnation. Lawton also discussed many of the documented near-death and out-of-body experiences in the book. One of the more freakish was the strict atheist Russian scientist who was run over by a car, multiple times and then pronounced dead at the scene. Then his body spent 3 days on a slab in a morgue, only to wake up as the autopsy was about to begin. The newly alive scientist had not only come back from the dead but he now had special psychic powers.

The thing that really struck a chord with me though, was all the evidence that had been gained through interlife regressions. Many of the people who went through the process described a complete understanding and no judgement at all. And this really got me thinking because believe it or not, I had actually been told once by a Catholic nun that hell doesn’t exist. So there seems to be hope for all us heathens.

I haven’t read the book yet, but after listening to this it will be on the top of my pile soon. This guy really delivers when it comes to research and the references that back the evidence up. And if you don’t believe me go read Giza: The Truth: The People, Politics, and History Behind the World’s Most Famous Archaeological Site ( I think I’ve read it at least 50 times).

I have to admit right up front, I would’ve never heard of this book if it wasn’t for my mother (and you thought she was only good for a hot meal. wrong!) and my interest in the afterlife. And now I know why, The Shack, is a self-published novel by author Paul Young, which hit the best-seller list, with 6 million copies printed since 2007. Don’t let that self-published scare you, it’s inspirational and reads like a fast paced thriller. What could be better?

The Shack is the fictional tale of a man named Mack who has to deal with a horrible family tragedy. Within a year Mack heads out to his mailbox to find an invitation from the one and only, yes you guessed it, the big man up stairs, God, to the shack where the tragedy occurred. But this is where it gets interesting, God isn’t exactly a man, or so it seems. Young really explores an interesting take on God, Jesus, and the afterlife (again the primary reason I cranked through this book). He breaks every religious mold you can think of, bringing together elements from the book When Bad Things Happen to Good People by Harold S. Kushner and the 1998 film, What Dreams May Come.

Mack gets the deep questions answered many of us ask everyday as well as meeting long lost relatives. But just when you think you know where the story is headed you get slammed for a turn that begs the question of what really just happened or did it happen at all.

For those of you non-bible folks (and believe me, I can’t even remember my last confession), check it out just for what we might be in store for in our next life. God supposedly cooks bacon. Bacon is good! [The Shack]
