In a Hubble picture, a red circle indicates an object in a distant galaxy that could be an ejected black hole.

A super-massive black hole — heavier than one billion suns — appears headed on an exit out of its home galaxy at 670,000 miles-an-hour.

“We have located a peculiar X-ray source,” says the upcoming study in The Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society journal, led by Marianne Heida of Utrecht University in the Netherlands, “either a very blue type IIn supernova, a (X-ray star) with a very bright optical counterpart or a recoiling super-massive black hole.”

Noted by NASA’s Chandra X-ray space telescope, the object called CXO J122518.6+144545 resides some 607,000 light years away in the SDSS DR7 galaxy (one light year is about 5.9 trillion miles.) Curiously, the object is about 10,500 light years outside the center of the galaxy, marked by an accompanying bright spot in the sky, noted by Hubble space telescope images.

Collision of two asteroids?

Hubble has discovered a mysterious X-shaped object traveling at 11,000mph. NASA says that P/2010-A2 may be a comet, product of the collision between two asteroids. Or a Klingon Bird of Prey. Either way, UCLA investigator David Jewitt is excited.

These huge spherical UFO’s started appearing around January 18, 2010. They are on both the forward and rear images taken by NASA’s Stereo Spacecraft in space. They appear to be moving as they are in different positions on many photos. Remember these are huge possibly at least the size of Earth. Further, if they were planets or some type of huge asteroid comets, they would already have been pulled into the sun by the strong gravity the sun produces as in the case of the recent comet. {video source: critiquekat}

A carefully worded media advisory note issued Monday promised that “greatly improved video imagery from the July 1969 live broadcast of the Apollo 11 moonwalk” would be made public Thursday.

Rumors have been flying around the Internet for weeks that NASA, after years of searching, had discovered the original recordings of Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin’s lunar excursion — which the space agency once feared had been accidentally destroyed.

The Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter, launching this week, will set the stage for the planned U.S. return to the moon by surveying locations and resources

Atop an Atlas 5 rocket at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida sits the first step in what will surely be a long and arduous task for NASA—returning humans to the moon. The Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter, or LRO, set to lift off this week, will orbit the moon in search of potential landing sites and useful resources, such as water ice, that would facilitate a long-term human presence.

For starters, LRO will improve maps of the moon, says astrophysicist John Keller of the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Md., deputy project scientist for the $500-million mission. “A point I like to make about LRO,” he says, “is that when it comes to the shape of the moon, we actually know the shape of Mars much better than we do of the moon.” Three-dimensional laser-altimetry data taken by LRO will help to close that gap.

Edgar Mitchell

This article speaks for itself, another astronaut, another admission. How much longer must we wait for the official word?

It’s interesting how the mainstream media downplays the connection made by Apollo astronaut Dr. Edgar Mitchell, the sixth man to walk on the moon, between UFOs and the “men in black.”

Over the weekend I took a few minutes to review interviews conducted with Dr. Mitchell when he appeared on CNN, Fox, and other programs in the summer of 2008, following his claim on Kerrang Radio in the UK of a government cover-up of an extraterrestrial presence.

According to Dr. Edgar Mitchell, the aliens are here. 

As one commentator noted, “Dr. Mitchell, if this is true, this would be the story of the century!”

Of course the true believers already know the UFOs have arrived. And they hold a million tales of alien visitation near and dear to their hearts.

International Space Station

A bright and fast object seemingly “overtook” the International Space Station May 29, according to several witnesses observing from two different states, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness database.

The first case was reported from Texas, where a man and two other witnesses were out watching the International Space Station fly over, and then observed this second object – moving at between two and-a-half and three times the speed of the space station.

A second group is reporting in from the RMCC Observatory, Mounds, Oklahoma, who say they saw the same event.

This is some of that classic NASA footage of us allegedly trying to take out a UFO. Sure don’t look like ice crystals, which NASA claims it was. Whatever it is, it’s still pretty compelling stuff.

Well, I thought I was going to be stuck inside all day due to the crappy New England weather. But guess what, the weather geniuses were wrong again and now the sun seems to be poking out. What a shock?! So maybe I won’t be sitting on my duff all day. Which means I need to pump this post out as fast as possible before the weather changes. Anyway, I had plans to switch gears a bit and get away from the ghosts and demons and look into some UFO stuff. And I came across what looks like a really cool UFO conference that will be available online at ufostream.com if you can’t get to San Diego.

It’s a six hour live broadcast with near HD quality (I don’t know what near HD is but it sounds relatively impressive), multi-angle camera views and live chat. The price of online admission is twenty bucks, which to me doesn’t seem that bad considering I can run to my own bathroom whenever I want. Plus, the list of speakers is sick. You’ll hear from George Noory, Dr. Roger Leir, Jose Escamilla, Erik Poltorak, Jason Martell, John Greenewald Jr. and Giorgio Tsoukalos. And some of the topics discussed will be alien implantation, what NASA is hiding from the public, the search for Planet X, 2012 and the ancient astronaut theory. You’re probably hoping for that rainy day now. I know I am. Later.

More info on UFO conference

Well I don’t even know where to begin with this one. But earlier today while checking out some UFO stuff I came across a video of Reverend Robert Short. Have ya heard of this guy? Well I hadn’t so I thought I would take a gander at the video where he claims to channel his alien buddy the “Honorable Crouton,” ahhh I mean the “Honorable Korton.” Oh, and Korton is from Jupiter, just so you know where this transmission is coming from.

It all begins with some excruciating trance-like deal. So painful looking he probably should take some Dulcolax beforehand, just so the alien signal comes through nice and easy. But after a couple more pinches and squirts we get what sounds like a robot voice letting us know that they’re “Ready to Transmit”. Kind of reminded me of those old 50’s sci-fi movies, something like “It Came From Outer Space.” He even had the wobbly voice effect going on. But then I realized that must be the super-advanced alien technology. And you’ll see, it sounds kind of cool.

Then finally Korton comes through. And boy does he have a commanding voice. So clear and crisp, again this alien technology is incredible. Now I’ve never spoken to an alien so I really have no frame of reference but Korton sounds very Eastern European or more specifically Yugoslavian. Maybe that explains the resemblance to Slobodan Milosevic. That hairdo is slick. Korton then begins to fill us in on climate issues and alien invasions.

Now just when I started to believe it all, he made the interviewer feel his sweaty chest for energy beams. I don’t know, just didn’t seem real at that point. Who knows, maybe I’m too much of a skeptic. But I’ll tell ya this, if that’s what we have to look forward to when the aliens come, we’re screwed.
