Cave Complex Allegedly Found Under Giza Pyramids

An enormous system of caves, chambers and tunnels lies hidden beneath the Pyramids of Giza, according to a British explorer who claims to have found the lost underworld of the pharaohs.

Populated by bats and venomous spiders, the underground complex was found in the limestone bedrock beneath the pyramid field at Giza.

“There is untouched archaeology down there, as well as a delicate ecosystem that includes colonies of bats and a species of spider which we have tentatively identified as the white widow,” British explorer Andrew Collins said.

Who really built them?

This article gives you a quick overview of some of the alternate theories and authors who’ve proposed them.

Conventional wisdom and mainstream science indicate the first human civilization began in Sumer (modern Iraq) or perhaps the Indus valley about 4000 B.C.E. This currently accepted theory describes humans living as hunter-gathers for hundreds of thousands of years then suddenly (and nearly simultaneously) developing agriculture, written language, metallurgy, religion, architecture and labor specialization – the hallmarks of what is known as civilization.

For most people who were educated in modern Western countries, this development is presented as a natural, almost inevitable evolution of mankind. However, some scholars suggest that humankind had a little help in the rapid progression towards civilization from beings that came from the stars, thousands of years ago.

Erich von Daniken first posited the “Ancient Astronauts” theory in 1968 in the best-selling (and now somewhat disputed) book Chariots of the Gods. Von Daniken explores the connections between the physical evidence left behind by ancient civilizations – most notably the massive pyramids of Egyptian and Mesoamerican cultures. Enormous controversy surrounds von Daniken’s supposition that the bronze-age cultures could not have built such precise and enduring monuments. Modern efforts to duplicate the task using the technology of the time have either failed outright or succeeded only in marginal areas.

In The Book of Ahau: The Visions That Revealed the Secret of the Tomb of Osiris and the Hall of Records, we are taken on a psychic adventure back to ancient Egypt and beyond. Our tour guide is author Govany Perony a self-taught remote viewer and independent psychic researcher. And for those of you not familiar with remote viewing, it’s the gathering of information from a distant or unseen location using extra-sensory perception.

Govany takes us into the heart of some of the world’s most mysterious locations, such as the Great Pyramid of Giza and The Great Sphinx. It’s there where things get really interesting. He finds new hidden chambers, undiscovered technology and an ancient library in the Great Pyramid. A machine is seen within the Great Pyramid that if turned on or used improperly could wipe out our current electromagnetic system permanently. Sound a little frightening. Yeah and maybe that’s why we’ve been told that everything has been found there. The powers that be don’t want anyone flipping the switch.

As for the Sphinx he saw a mausoleum and a museum containing untouched sarcophagi and much like the “Hall of Records” theory, documents containing “Man’s History.”

Giza could also be the final resting place of the Ark of the Covenant according to Govany’s visions. He even speculates on how Moses really parted the Red Sea by the use of a secret tunnel. At the end of the book there is a quick section on future predictions and possible explanations on past events.

Sounds a bit fantastic I know but Govany does say right up front that all of it is purely speculative and needs investigation. But overall The Book of Ahau makes for an entertaining combination of the paranormal and archeology.
